Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is the analysis of interaction between goals of income allocation in a family and buying roles performed by particular members of the family (decision-maker, buyer, informer, initiator and consultant). In the area of income goals there are distinguished goals in the areas of consumption, savings and investments. In the analysis constant sum scale of the preferences the Dirichlet regression is used to identify model parameters. The results show the domination of goals that are referred to security and status quo in the families and relatively high level of security with respect to attainment of consumer goals on financial market.
