Summary/Abstract: In the article an attempt is made at showing the significance and role of national minorities, including the Polish one, in the development of culture and education in the area of the Winnica region in the Ukraine. Also the main trends in the activity of Polish national-cultural associations during the Ukraine’s independence are presented.
