Legal terms and conditions the renewable energy sources electrical grid connection

Summary/Abstract: Requirement established for Poland, regarding participation of electric energy produced in renewable energy source at the 15% level of national electricity consumption in addition to country support system for renewable energy, caused increased interest in renewable energy investments. Administrative proceedings regarding such investments exposed legal system imperfections concerning especially the stage of the petition for terms of grid connection. Current Energy Law does not completely regulate the matter of the petition completion, order of consideration of petitions and the legal nature of such petition. Mentioned stage is about to be changed because of the new Energy Law and Renewable Energy Sources Act which are currently undergoing legislative process as a part of the Polish energy three-pack
