Summary/Abstract: During last few years, the German Professional football clubs have become a sport enterprises. Soccer clubs take part in economic and sport competition and they remain faithful to the ordoliberalism, from which the social market economy derives. Concepts such as Eucken's, Muller-Armack's and Ropke's contain specific references to the standards and values that should be followed by responsible entrepreneurs. The proof of the social responsibility of German sport enterprises is to organize and participate in thematic projects implemented to solve specific problems arising from the deficiency of the market mechanism. Activities that have been taken indicate that these enterprises are aware of their role that should played according to the concept of ordoliberalism.
