Causes and consequences of international migration of young Poles

Summary/Abstract: In Poland's history migration has always played an important role, but it should be remembered that the greatest mobility is characterized by young, often well-educated, which are the foundation of high-quality human capital. The aim of this paper is to present why young Poles are choosing to travel abroad. In the first part initial concept of migration is presented. The next part describes the causes and consequences of spatial mobility. The last part of the publication presents the results of conducted research and conclusions.
