The Middle Ages – valuable or not?

Summary/Abstract: The Middle Ages are specific time – it’s very controversial historical period. The myth of dark ages still lives, so this period is underestimated. But it’s worth recognizing in different ways for finding an inspiration. According to medieval style, we should refer to various authorities, both contemporary historical, literally or philosophical researchers and medieval authors. Then it turns out, that the medieval way of thinking has nothing common with our in some aspects while in other ones it seems the medieval people have the same problems as we have today, that they were trying to solve in different ways. Finally the Middle Ages were a period having both lights and shadows.
