Summary/Abstract: According to author, short-termed interest that the USA have displayed for Montenegro, corresponded with the phase of greater attention that this Power have paid to the European affairs. The fact that it happened in the final stages of the World War, when Montenegro has been disappearing from the political map, had provided to their mutual relations a special taste, from which no consequence has emerged at the end. The question of Montenegro has been treated and solved according to greater interests, combinations and plans of victorious European Powers, in which the activities of Montenegrin committees and their representatives haven’t meant a lot.
