Evolution of macroeconomic competitiveness of South Korea in the 21st Century

Summary/Abstract: The increasing interdependence of national economies resulting from globalization makes the subjects to take actions in order to raise chances of winning the competition in the international environment. This results in a change in the capacity and the competitive position of countries participating in international economic flows. This study focuses on the analysis and evaluation of macroeconomic competitiveness of South Korea in the following areas: general competitiveness, price and cost competitiveness, non-price and external competitiveness.
