Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the importance of customer satisfaction mesurement in quality management, especially in fulfilling the customer orientation principle. The main part of the pepr presents the analyzes of customer satisfaction research methods (mainly surveys) used in selected local government offices. The results of these analyzes determine a several number of recommendations for improvement of customer satisfation survey methods of this type of offices.
