Prospects for the local real estate markets in terms of price volatility of agricultural land

Summary/Abstract: The systematic increase in the price of agricultural land since the beginning of the transformation in Poland is a fact of life. Although, in the 90's, with too violent attempt to reform the country's economic, agriculture and people associated with agriculture became a burden for the economy of our country. After a fairly deep recession you will see growth of this branch of economic system, especially since the Polish entry into the European Union. Therefore, with this publication, I will try to answer three essential questions posed from perspective of two points of view: the farmer and the real estate agent. Whether the increase in agricultural land price is actually a symptom of an increase in strength of Polish agriculture? What are the factors that can provide? What circumstances can determine value increase and gain interest in agricultural property at the local level?
