Summary/Abstract: This article reviews from a declarative and functional perspective the role that the adverbs of time and space have in the discourse, adverbs, which, together with personal and demonstrative pronouns and grammatical category of time, are - in the system-language deictic component involving referentially and directly the situation of communication.
