Summary/Abstract: The author analyzes the transformation of the creative dimension of writing emerging at the wake of new, non-paper forms of record. In a culture understood as a means for the production and processing of information, writer's creativity which has so far been linked to its material basis (paper), is transformed due to the possibility of creation in the electromagnetic field, as the author names it. Framework and the constraints of paper have at the same time determined the framework related to inserting some creative noise into the process of information creation, thus limiting their activity to the levels of thoughts and language. Text inscribed into the electromagnetic field seems free of these limitations, it becomes plastic, processual and prone to creative manipulations also on the part of the reader.
