Summary/Abstract: The Ethics of Ecological Restoration. The ethics of ecological restoration. Ecological restoration is one of the most sensitive topics of ecology. Such ethical problem arises when man try to conserve an ecosystem taking into account the ecological value. Is it ethical to act against the natural course of things ? Is it natural to see Nature as a scale of „values”? Environmental changes affect some species more than others, in this context the species does not acquire a „value” beyond all it acquires a priority and the priority is given the scale of ecological value. In conclusion ecological restoration is a fact that must be assumed by the society that develops with accelerated pace, occupying more and more space and using more resources in detriment of other species which are forced to restrict their territories, their areas, and finaly the access to vital resources.
