Summary/Abstract: The study presents the spiritual path and mystical experience of St. Angela of Foligno (1248-1309), referring to the sacrament of baptism, as the source for spiritual life of each Christian. The collaboration with the grace of baptism brought Angela to the heights of the mystical experience. Her spiritual journey can be reconstructed from the information present in the manuscript no. 342 from the municipal library in Assisi (copied between 1308 and 1309) and entitled Liber sororis Lelle de Fulgineo de Tertio Ordine Sancti Francisci, often abbreviated by scholars as Liber or Memoriale.
