Summary/Abstract: This study describes three concepts, parts of the economy, their features and the connections and differences between microeconomics, macroeconomics, national economy and national economic complex as well. It has been shown the key role of the international cooperation for the creation of a modern economy, the international exchange being inevitable, considering that each country has developed distinctly, under certain historical conditions. The growth of the interdependences at a global scale makes the development of each economy to be strongly conditioned by its position in the international context, by the development of its connections’ complexity with the other national economic systems. The dependence on external structures is determined by the volume and level of the national economy on one hand and by certain structure factors on the other hand. For any country, no matter the development level, the given structure of the production cannot cover the whole consumption of the people, thus revealing the tendency to continuously diversify the production, which means a structure which is larger than the previous one and the growth of the production consequently means cooperation between countries.
