Summary/Abstract: This year, even on the Independence Day of the United States, at the conference that he supported in Aula Magna of the University "Petre Andrei" of Iași, I had the opportunity of a very interesting dialogue with Professor Aurelian Crăiuțu. Away from Romania to perfect his taste of freedom, the American professor deigned to talk in a relaxed but firm manner about the sense of political philosophy in our era, about the Romanian post-communism and the future of education.
