Participatory budget as a form of co-governance

Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the issue of participatory budgets development in Poland and in the world. Analysis of collected information enables to conclude that this form of co-governing is gaining popularity in Poland. Appropriately organized procedures of the development and implementation of such budgets, may contribute to the growth of trust between citizens and local authorities in the future.
