Summary/Abstract: The article views the lexicon of English and Ukrainian charms in contrastive analysis. The lexicon of charms under analysis is presented by lexical and thematic groups, subgroups with their allomorphic and isomorphic features.The variety of themes reveals the way charms were composed, the system of the primitive mentality conception of the world.
