The Fundamentals of Orthodox anthropology in the current multicultural context

Summary/Abstract: This study aims to highlight the foundations of Orthodox anthropology in front of the contemporary cultural climate challenges. What is very important for our research is the issue of reason, the meaning of human existence and the risk of a „new ideal anthropology” generated by the escape of the modern man from the real space into the virtual one. The anthropological teaching of the Orthodox Church is the real and safe solution for reconstructing the man created in the image of God.
