Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the presentation of the formation and functioning of lexical units in Ukrainian computer slang. The author presents the definition of terms: slang, jargon and argot as well as structure and mechanisms of Lexeme-Formation processes. The metaphorisation is the most popular method of creation of Ukrainian computer slang words.
