Analysis of energy consumption of road transport relative oo GDP based on selected European Union Countries

Summary/Abstract: This article presents the subject of sustainable development of transportation. The article noted, that the most characteristic indicator of sustainable development of transportation is energy consumption of road transport relative to GDP. It also presented the analysis of the energy consumption of transport relative to other sectors or of road transport relative to other branches. In article also isolated areas of hot spots cluster and cold spots cluster, which are relevant to the objectives of sustainable development of transportation.
