Summary/Abstract: Ethics defined as a system of moral principles is one of the crucial and essential fundamentals of capital market. Following ethical rules by all of the capital participants is necessary to keep market stability and prevent excessive fluctuation in rates. Any ethical deviation is a potential risk to all organizations and shareholders engaged, not only in capital market, but also in any other financial market components. Capital market is an area where we can observe a huge risk of market abuse by violating ethical guidelines, and in effect increasing the risk of collapse. The most common incidents of market abuses are e.g. insider trading, false statements and market manipulation. Despite dozens of regulations, reforms and information campaigns, using privileged information for the purposes of gain and other unethical behavior are serious problems for financial supervision authorities all around the World. The consequence of this unethical behavior could lead to "collapse of trust" and would be a beginning of new economic crisis.
