Silhouette of a Social Worker in the Opinion of Students Ignatianum

Summary/Abstract: A social worker is a profession, which in recent years in Poland, says more and more. This is due to both the emergence of social work in academic education as well as extended range of tasks and roles, in which the social worker works. The purpose of this article is to present the activities of the social worker in view the current legal status and the available literature. Another intention of the author is to present the opinion of students of social work Ignatianum Academy in Cracow in the context of earlier theoretical findings.
