Constitutional features of speech genre of Internet meme in ‘Russian as a foreign language teaching’ context

Summary/Abstract: An Internet meme is reviewed concurrently both in theoretical (genre characteristics) and practical (teaching Russian as a foreign language) perspective. It is suggested in the article the theoretical approach to consider the features of speech genre, as well as few Internet meme examples are analyzed; it is also considered the ways to work with the given topic in accordance to the methodology, which constitute didactic, linguistic and psychological aspects of the learning process.
