Summary/Abstract: The article presents the specifics of project management, especially its costs from the planning, design of the project budget, along with the estimated costs of the project, as well as the choice of the executive team, to its implementation and completion associated with the realisation of the planned project budget. An outline of possible project divisions that can be implemented in business entities has been drafted. The areas that need more work before starting the project have been indicated. Moreover, it is illustrated how proper planning and effective control at every stage of the project support the process of project cost management and enable efficient management of the project. The presentations are made on the most popular expense accounting methods of the project in order to obtain information about the assumed success or failure of a particular venture.
