Summary/Abstract: The Hebrew Bible uses more words to express the feeling of love. Sometimes the words used have different meanings and they can cover a great semantic area: love, mercy, kindness, and compassion. The most used Hebrew words are ahab and hesed, and each of them refers to a different kind of love. Also, each is related with human and divine love.
