Culture and Civilization in the Context of Globalization

Summary/Abstract: The Article considers the correlation of culture and civilization in the context of globalization. The Author understands culture as totality of spiritual values, civilization, as totality of material and social components (units). Regarding the modern situation in Byelorussia, the Author contends that the originality of the Byelorussian spiritual being in the process of the development of modern mankind can only be maintained by natural culture that rests on national mentality and is oriented at personality emerging on the background of human community.
