Summary/Abstract: The exhibition in the National Art Museum of Ukraine in Kyiv (October 2001) was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the formerly persecuted underground artist, later the Taras Shevchenko Award winner, now professor of the National Academy of Arts in Kyiv. The problems of Historic Genre in modern art are discussed.
