THE REGULATION OF WOMEN'S REPRESENTATION IN COLLECTIVE BODIES OF POWER IN POLAND IN THE CONTEXT OF THE RESULTS OF PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS IN 2011

Summary/Abstract: The changes in public awareness of the position of women in political life in Poland began in the transition period is becoming increasingly important. Yet it is not dynamic enough that women in Poland could think of its strong representation in parliament and other forum. This article is an attempt to answer the question whether the changes quota share of each gender in staffing, offices in Poland, provide greater opportunities for women participation in political life on the analysis of the results of the parliamentary elections of 2011, or rather, were a compromise on what is decided to prevent the escalation of the protests on this issue.
