Summary/Abstract: One of the tools for sales forecasting is Bass diffusion model. Its characteristic feature is confirmed by the numerous applications of the universality of the model in predicting sales of products newly introduced to the market under different market segments. The main aim of the article is to present the BASS R package developed for R environment, which now is one of the most important programs for statistical, econometric analysis and forecasting. The article presents the functions of the BASS R package which allows to specify Bass curve for the product. There is also presented an example of sales forecasting using BASS R package.
