TESTIMONY IN THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT AS A MODE OF EVANGELIZATION

Summary/Abstract: The article tackles the issue of testimony as an efficient mode of evangelization. The reflection starts with giving the theological definition of the concept of “testimony” by referring it to the jurisdictional understanding of attestation of the truth. Then the problem of “the power of the Spirit” is analyzed as an indispensable element for one who already has the human qualification of the witness (by actual presence beside Jesus Christ). The article is closed with a reflection on “the mode of evangelization” by testimony in the work of new evangelization and mission ad gentes.
