Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes several heuristically fruitful but somewhat underestimated systems of ideas in modern sociological and psychoanalytical theory with a view to their future synthesis in an unified theory of human creativity and culture. With regard to this purpose the similar realist-constructivist underpinnigs of the following independent lines of social thought are revealed: a) V. Turner's and Z.Bauman's theory of the so-called "structures" and "counter-structures" and, most importantly, of the special role of the process of "transporting" between them of the individual b) A. Gidens' ideas about the processes of "social stru-cturation" as a specific "intermediary zone" between the micro- and the macro-level of social change c) D. Winnicott's understanding of what he calls "transitional object" and "transitional space" and, especially, of their role of a necessary condition for the development of both play and creativity. Working on these considerations some of the most important affective and social-structural characteristics of human creativity are identified.
