Summary/Abstract: The design of economic policies aimed at strengthening the capacity of economies to cope the negative shocks on the economy of the country. But, the need to properly assess the current state of the economy and understand the nature of the shocks and their propagation is fraught to major uncertainties. Indeed, the search for macroeconomic stability is the key element of the economic policy of institutional organizations in Tunisia especially after the revolution in 2011. The objective of this paper is to present the general framework of economic policy and analyze the Tunisian economy and the factors that affect its evolution in a simultaneous equations model.
