Summary/Abstract: Interdependence between humanity and nature requires rejection of the traditional option, namely, a high maximum and prosperity through the predatory use of natural resources to depletion, pollution and intensive damage to the environment with products of civilization. Must be recognized and accepted as the only possible, reasonable and appropriate option ecological morality associated with moderate prosperity in complying with environmental consequences in mind for future generations. In the Bulgarian theory of ecology, yet there is insufficient research on the results of the direct exploitation of biological resources in mountain areas, which affects in an uneven degree ecosystems, habitats and taxa. Research has been conducted and identify opportunities to integrate activities in mountain areas (Samokov municipality) associated with environmental and business activities in these areas and outlining the trends and ways to protect biodiversity in accordance with the principles of sustainable development
