Summary/Abstract: Important historical events and privileges at the beginning of the 18th century at the time of the Habsburg ruling in Silesia, provided useful conditions for the development of the activity of many Evangelic parishes. On the basis of the Atlandstadt agreement from 1707, forced reCatholization stopped, confiscated temples were brought to Lutherans back (the process taking place since 1648), and the agreement was received to build new Evangelic parishes. The Evangelic parish in Cieszyn was created as early as in 1709. A characteristic of a music life in the Evangelic school became the main research problem of the very article. The musical fragments of cantatas prove the research results.
