Summary/Abstract: The Ukrainian folk dance is a music product of the folk work. It presents the national features of the Ukrainian culture and constitutes a genetic similarity of The Ukrainian folk dance appearing in the culture of Slavs. The folklorists of various nations are still studying its features as a vocal-dancing and singing-choreographic genre. The subject of the phenomenon of the Ukrainian folk dance is metro-rhythmicity which brings it unique expression and representation of the genre in the European music culture.
