Summary/Abstract: The article explicates the results of the research on the essence and content of neoclassical (post-postmodernist) philosophy through its comparison with classical and non-classical philosophies, and defines the significance of neoclassical philosophy as a modern stage in the development of world philosophy. Analyzing the conceptual shifts (the change in the types of rationality and determinism, and in the basic questions of philosophy; the emergence of a synergetic world-view; the discovery of the anthropic principle and a novel interpretation of humanism, and some others) characterizing the new philosophical world-view, we attempt to show how neoclassical philosophy overcomes a newly emerged rupture in the original cognitive strategies (the so-called “death of philosophy”).
