Summary/Abstract: Anna Korwin is a British actress of Polish origin. Her artistic personality is most fully revealed in the theatre, but she also regularly appeared in film and on Tv, where she specialised in creating small character parts. She took part in the BBC adaptation of John Galsworthy’s "The Forsyte Saga" (dir. David Giles, 1967). Her continental background and knowledge of several languages predisposed her to play foreign characters. Her most important artistic creations were in her mature years. Among them the title role in the monodrama of life and work of Maria Callas (based on the play by Jean-yves Picq), in which she presented a psychologically interesting portrait of the Greek prima donna.
