Summary/Abstract: The- author presents 17· Ronţan coins. belonging to private or school collectiona in the· Alba district. They w(~re accidenta1y foupd at Alba lulia,Ghirbom, .Petreşti, Războieni.cetate, Tărtăria and Zlatna. I 't, Most of lthem (15) are .irnpţrial Roman coins, emident by Tiberius, Vespasianus, Traianus, Antoninus Pi."us., Mareus Aurelius, "d Fauslina q, Crispina, Septimius.·. sevems,. Caracalla, Sevems Alexander and Philippus 1. On1y qne piere (nr.' 5), is a large bronze coin emited by Philippus I for province of Dacia in 246 and lit was found inn Alba Iulia. The coin nr. 14, found in Tărtăria, is an imitation after aiepublican cdin emited by C. Titinius al Rome in 141 B.C. It was probably made in.4 local mit, which existe~ in· Dacia. The coins presented in this Istudy areenriching the nionetaIy discoveries roade in the Alba ti district, supplementing the' infonnati,bns about ţhe circulati.on of the Roman coins on the territory of Dacia.
