Summary/Abstract: In his poems, Boris Vian uses the peritext in a very personal way, lending it a destabilising force, one that consequently leads to readers’ confusion. At the same time, Boris Vian’s peritext gives away a certain attitude to poetry which is no longer perceived as either pontification or a privileged activity.
