Summary/Abstract: Analyzing the foundation and editorship of Westöstliche Rundschau journal published between 1894 and 1896, the study reveals the manner how personal is transformed in political. The analysis is based on letters written by the founder-editor Béla Vikár, and an article about the co-editor Harry Jannsen. The paper briefl y touches also the subject of the effect and history of journal in Hungary, Estonia and Finland.
