Summary/Abstract: The text bellow presents fragments translated for the first time into Romanian from the book The Flowering Spirit. Classic teachings on The art of NÔ written by Zeami, the medieval Japanese actor, playwright and aesthetician. The excerpts are meant to raise the public curiosity for these unique teachings concerning acting and the art of theatre. They include Zeami’s hypothesis about the origins of NÔ, the chapters about experience and age, a section of questions and answers concerning the concept of the Flower, the chapter entitled Praising the Deepest Principles and aspects of Additional Oral Traditions.
