Summary/Abstract: An important result of experience and previous practice in structural transformations of Polish organizations is awareness of a multipronged approach to programming and realization of changes of any kind. The size and variety of tasks required in case of organization management, amount of factors as well as their different operational mechanism often cause disharmony between company`s goals and needs and possibilities of effective restructuring. In the first part of the article the authors present short theoretical consideration of the restructuring process. The second part contains a simplified analysis of business restructuring process that is currently taking place in ENERGA-OPERATOR SA entity.
