Summary/Abstract: The article dedicates for codicological properties of manuscript F. IV. 585 (so-called library copy of Voscresenskaya chronicle). This manuscript is the convolut, which contains such texts of Russian chronicles of 16th century, as Voscresenskaya chronicle, The chronicle of the beginning of the kingdom and part of chronicle corpus of 1560 from 1552 to 1560. This monuments has great significance for a studying of ancient Russian literature. The Voskresenskaya chronicle considers the monument created in 40s of 16th century, in the age of boyar’s reign for minor Ivan IV. It is one of the biggest Russian chronicle. Voscresenskaya chronicle is the second historical compilation after Niconovskaya chronicle by number of expounded facts. Chronicle of the beginning of the kingdom is the monument contained description of facts from 1533 to 1552. An extension of the text was created afterwards. It reaches to different dates in different manuscripts. Documents for this period havn’t survived and the chronicle is the most important source for the time of Ivan the Terrible reign before oprichnina. Chronicle of the beginning of the kingdom is one of the last Russian state chronicles. Chronicle tradition of the end of 16th — 17th centuries lost official status. The new historical monuments weren’t the chronicles, but historical tractates. Therefore the Chronicle has great significance for a studying of Russian culture and historical narration. The Chronicle of the beginning of the kingdom had become an organic part of another historical compilations, such as Svod of 1560. We have a little knowledges about this monument. It may be a compilation of Voscresenskay and Niconovskaya chronicles. But all sources of Svod didn’t define. We have a small fragment from 1552 to 1560 of this text in the Librarian copy. The Svod has influence on the last Russian chronicle tradition. This compilation became the source of Lvovskaya chronicle in its last part after 1518. The Librarian copy often attracted an attention of researchers. It connects with significance of the monuments, which the copy contains. But we haven’t its codicological research now. The main properties of the manuscript, its watermarks and codicological structure were explored in the article. The refinement of dating of convolute’s parts became the result of the work.
