Summary/Abstract: The authoress presents the character and scientific output of rev. Józef Maria Bocheński, an outstanding philosopher, logician, master and critic of modern and recent philosophy, of logics’ history, the author of the worldly unique book showing the history of logics, while accompanied by selected source-texts. As the article informs, J. M. Bocheński, O.P., was also an amateur of automobilism and pilotage. The authoress underlines that a domain itself of Bochenski’s activities and achievements is very extensive. Beside original concepts and solutions of different philosophical problems, he worked out, e.g., an assessment of recent social tendencies between religion and morality, or ideology and worldview and politics, as well as an analysis of authority, and a philosophy of business. He was not only a man of theory, but also a well-known political expert, a man of strong personality and faith. Presently J. M. Bocheński, O.P., is recognized and esteemed as an authority in many domains.
