Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present the main determinants of sustainable consumption of energy in Poland with particular emphasis on energy efficiency of the Polish economy. In addition, the article focuses on the issue of education and development of environmental awareness of energy consumers as well as characterizes the model of energy consumption in households.
