Summary/Abstract: The paper presents selected results from representative empirical survey on social care in Slovak families with dependant members and their request for social care services. It focuses on analysis of current forms of care within families and profiles both of care-givers and care-recipients. The survey, the results are coming form, has been carried out by team at the Centre for Work and Family Studies in 2005.
