Summary/Abstract: Teodor Parnicki's interest in Słowacki's works began in the Chinese period of his life and it proved to be a permanent element of his own literary creations. Parallels, inspirations and references to Słowacki's works can be found on several different levels. First of all there are intertextual games based on the references to Słowacki's poetry and drama. Certain analogies can also be observed in the way of composing literary cycles and in presenting authorial subject in a work of literature. Parnicki also introduces Słowacki into some of his „historical fantasy” novels.
