Elements of Eastern law in the pastoral care of the Latin Church

Summary/Abstract: As a result of migration, the faithful of the Eastern Catholic Churches often settle on traditional Latin territories maintaining sui iuris under the jurisdiction of the ordinary belonging to a different Church. This means that in the pastoral care of the Latin Church no shortage of Eastern affairs and concerning the relationship between the Churches. First of all, they relate the sacramental ministry. This publication is the analysis of different cases that require knowledge and application of law the east. It is important to correctly determine the belonging the Church, acquired through the reception of baptism, administering the other sacraments, especially marriage, and Church court competence in Poland in trying cases of the faithful belonging to the Eastern Catholic Churches.
