Summary/Abstract: Trademarks and geographical indications are a highly internationally debated topic, mainly because of their economic value. This is why new international laws are created in order to keep up with the advances in economics, communications and internet. The article aims to study the international sources of law in trademarks and geographical indications field, in order to underline the applicable legislation.
